On Thursday 25 May, the winners of the G15 Ethnicity
in Housing Awards 2023 were revealed.
The G15, in collaboration with UNIFY, organised the second edition of the
awards to recognise and celebrate the contribution and achievements of ethnic
minority colleagues in the housing sector.
Colleagues from across the G15 were invited to make
nominations for a range of awards that recognise the immense contribution of
ethnic minority colleagues.

Leader Award
Winner: Bukky Awokoya (A2Dominion)
Runner-up: Sasha Smith
(Notting Hill Genesis)
Bukky was chosen as the winner of this award, due to
how they have grown exponentially since they first started as a temporary
Housing Assistant 5 years ago.
Since then, they have progressed to a senior
position, and take-up opportunities, such as becoming a trained mediator and
completing external training programmes.
Their determination, commitment, and drive to grow,
develop, and embark on any opportunity to do so, is inspiring to all.
