On Thursday 25 May, the winners of the G15 Ethnicity in Housing Awards 2023 were revealed.
The G15, in collaboration with UNIFY, organised the second edition of the awards to recognise and celebrate the contribution and achievements of ethnic minority colleagues in the housing sector.
Colleagues from across the G15 were invited to make nominations for a range of awards that recognise the immense contribution of ethnic minority colleagues.

Early Housing Career
Award
Winner: Ohenewaa Adu-Akyeampong (Southern Housing)
Runner-up: Hemraj
Kular (Clarion)
Ohenewaa was described in the nomination they
received as being truly passionate about advancing in their profession, as well
as supporting their local community.
They have worked to grow a professional network for
British Ghanian lawyers, championing the positive impact of talented black
professionals in the legal profession and beyond. Ohenewaa is also an active
member of a grants advisory group, delivering projects that support communities
disproportionality impacted by the pandemic.
