Experts across every policy area
Our work is shaped and driven by senior specialists from across our member organisations.
Director-level sub-groups lead on key areas including development, housing management, finance, asset investment, communities and resident engagement, and policy.
They work alongside informal networks and colleagues throughout member organisations who meet regularly. They test ideas, challenge assumptions, share best practice and collaborate for the benefit of residents and to ensure we’re continuously improving in all that we do.
Colleagues share learning and coordinate action on issues ranging from safety, supply and sustainability to colleague talent, diversity and inclusion. There are also colleague networks collaborating on detailed operational issues like financial and economic inclusion, tenancy fraud, anti-social behaviour and colleague safety.
These networks allow us to:
• share best practice
• solve common challenges together, nationally and in local areas
• reduce duplication
• strengthen standards across the social housing sector.
This day-to-day collaboration improves services for residents and strengthens London’s housing system.

Partnerships that reach beyond housing
G15 members are anchor institutions in London. We’re long-term investors in neighbourhoods and part of the city’s civic infrastructure.
We work closely with:
• the Mayor of London and London boroughs
• government departments and regulators
• the NHS and health partners
• the Met Police and community safety partnerships
• voluntary and community organisations
• resident-led groups
• charities
• local businesses and employers
• banks and financial institutions.
These partnerships help us deliver more to support employment and enterprise in our communities, improve health outcomes, strengthen communities and invest in local economies.
Housing does not sit in isolation, and neither do we.
